Who can apply for this course?

The course is focused availbale for:

Teachers (Pre-school, primary, secondary, vocational, adult, special needs)

Teacher trainers

Careers officers, educational guides and counsellors

Headteachers/principals/managers of schools/organisations offering adult education

Members of students/teachers councils in adult education

Other, namely: Teachers interested in ICT & non-formal education

 

who work in the following countries:

EU member states

EFTA countries (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein)

Turkey

Switzerland

 

What topics will the course cover?

The course focuses on showing many possibilities of existing technologies, such as

GPS, Augmented reality, QR codes, NFC, Social media and online video. A complete list of all the topics and programmes is available here:

When is the deadline for application?

The deadline for application is 17 September, 2013.

 

What is the cost of the training course?

The course fee is €750, which includes all course material. The whole amount and other expenses – such as travel and accommodation -  can be covered by the applying for a Grundvtig grant.

 

Are there any other costs involved?

Participants should also calculate costs for travel to and from Budapest, travel to and from the course venues, meals and accommodation. However, you can apply for a Grundtvig In-Service Training (IST) grant for accomodation, meals, travel to and from the course location, insurance and course fee through your National Agency.

What are the steps for participating in the course?

1. Fill and complete the registration form by clicking this link:

2. You will get a confirmation letter via email which you will need for your Grundtvig grant application.

3. You should then download the Grundtvig In-Service Training (IST) grant application form from your National Agency, which you can find here:

4. While applying for your grant, you will need the correct Grundtvig course number, which can be found in the confirmation letter.

5. If your grant application is successful, your national agency will contact you. You should then contact us as soon as possible to confirm your participation in the course.

6. Before the course begins, we will send out an information pack containing a list of hotels, restaurants, maps and transportation.

7. You will book your own transport from your home to the hotel (flight, bus, or train). Do not book before your grant application has been successful and your place on the course has been confirmed.

 

Is it possible for groups to apply?

Yes, people from the same institute can apply to the course. However, EU policy states that the Grundtvig grant can only be awarded to one person per institute.

 

Will I get a certification of attendance when the course is over?

Yes. All participants will receive a certificate of attendance, which is important for your final report to your National Agency.
